“As part of Silvi Naçi’s AIR project, skin to sky: radical play as resistance, queering kites is an invitation to translate the collective co-authored cyanotypes, made in previous workshops, into kites to fly.” Each kite a fragment of a once-whole piece of fabric (silk or muslin), the construction represented a re-suturing of these within the sky, celebrating individual stories and relationships to kites that become one collective story in the ether.
